For over 50 years Atkinsons have been manufacturing fencing and timber products and in that time have earned an enviable reputation for the quality and service they provide. Founded by George Atkinson, who began by selling reclaimed timber and firewood, the company has transformed into one of the largest independent fencing manufacturers in the UK with a work force of highly skilled people.

Fencing is just part of the range that Atkinsons offer, they also provide decking, arches, arbours and trellis as well as furniture, log cabins, summerhouses and sheds plus much more. Our speciality is manufacturing bespoke products.

All of our products are manufactured at our 3 acre Castleford factory site with incorporates the sawmill along with pressure treatment tanks and a steel fabrication workshop. All our timber is FSC certified ensuring our commitment to the environment and ensuring the quality of our products and the sustainability of the timber we use.

We currently set upwards of 80,000 posts per year all across the region for various customers with contracts ranging from a few hundred pounds to over 2 million pounds. And our team of surveyors, with over 100 years combined experience, are always there to answer any questions you may have.
