Sitting comfortably? h2 >
Yes? Okay.
No? That’s okay, too.
It’s what we’re here for.
To show you our Top Ten pick list of garden/home from home chairs, sofas, benches, and seats alike.
Places to place yourself in the comfort of your very own outdoor living dreamscape.
Up first. The Balmoral Garden Arbour.
The namesake of this one is derived from Scottish Gaelic, or, named directly after Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire. A home to the royal family since 1852.
The Balmoral Arbour is a superb seat. Often seen in people’s gardens, as well as well-maintained parks and open gardens.
It is crafted from high quality pressure-treated timber in a classic decorative design. It is a comfortable seating spot for two, can be used through-out all seasons, it’s easy to assemble, and relatively low maintenance (for timber maintenance advice, visit our timber treatment blog).

Next
We’re showing you range available at our South Milford showroom. The Supremo Leisure range: made with aluminium and/or weave style frames.
This kind of furniture is great for all areas in your outdoor living space.
It’s low-maintenance, very comfy, and guarantees a level of quality to rival many other leading brands of garden furniture. But don’t just take our word for it. Come and see it for yourself.

And this
This is the picnic bench. A firm family favourite. After the design was awarded a patent to Charles Nielson they became a popular product in the early 20th century. And that popularity never went away.
In fact, over the years, Atkinsons have redefined the design to suit even more of you. We can easily craft you our foldable version. Going from a standard garden bench, into, a practical picnicking bench. We can make you a version for your children. And, we can make you up the classic model too.
Plus, it comes pressure-treated as standard, and flat-packed for easy assembly. (This one’s ten percent off at checkout in our world cup deals. Just use the code CUP10 at checkout).

Up next
The namesake of this one, according to OED is unclear, but we like the ‘cheerful land’ origin. A garden for many is a happy place, so it’s fitting.
This one is great for all areas for your garden, even where you have climbing plants such as jasmine, passiflora, and roses. It has open panels to support these plants.
It is made with pressure-treated timber, comfortable for two, with a classic curved roof design. It’s pretty fine.

And this one's pretty fine
The conservation seat is as described. Only, with this one, you get a side table to place your drink onto. It’s one of our top picks for the upcoming World Cup season. Whatever team you support, we at Atkinsons think you should have a good primed place. To watch the football come home, or stay with us as long as it can.
This is manufactured with smooth planed timber, pressure-treated, and comes flat-packed for easy assembly.

Looking for another easy assembly option?
This is the Chatsworth Swing Seat.
The name of this one comes from a lineage of family, named, after a now lost to time place-name: Chatworth. But, by no means is this style of swing seat lost in your garden. Not unless you’re going for the Secret Garden look.
This one is made with pressure-treated, planed, smooth timber: for a long-lasting, luxury feel. It sits two, comfortably.

After a moment alone instead?
Look here at the Lily Rocker. Designed to support your posture, with: its angled back, strong armrests, and low seating.
Place in your favourite garden spot. Then sit back and relax.
This one is made with pressure-treated timber as standard, and provided the upkeep and maintenance of the timber is done, it can last you at least ten years.

Got a group of you?
Then this one’s for you.
This is the Florence Square Set. It uses a traditional weave on its frame to create that wicker look.
The result? A deep, textured, finish.
This set includes a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a coffee table topped with toughened glass.
It’s glorious, and would look great in any area of your garden. Even in an outdoor building. A little home from home comfort with this.

Second from the top of this (not exhaustive!) list?
This is the Capri: the large corner set. A fantastic choice for hosting family, extended family, and friends. This one, like the Florence, uses a traditional weave look on a sturdy powder-coated aluminium frame.
The colour is also a muted grey. Meaning, you can fashion it as is, or place as many throw cushions and blankets on it (for stargazing nights or huddling up in your happy outdoor space) to your heart’s desire.

And now, for the final choice.
We’re finishing off the list with the good old Garden Bench. This is a piece of furniture which has passed down throughout history. This is one which became popular, as we know it to look today, during the 19th century: when passing time in a garden was popularised.
This one, like the picnic benches/tables, is also available on the world cup offer. It’s offered at 10% off the original price. Just use code CUP10 at checkout.
Atkinsons make a variety of garden benches and the timber is pressure-treated as standard. We can make them for local open public spaces, and we can make them for your outdoor living area too.
