Some key points to consider when using our treated timber joists

1. Pressure-treated timber for a longer life, ensuring your decking is strong and safe

2. Joists should be spaced correctly, generally 400mm to 600mm apart, depending on the size of the deck

3. Ensure the joists are elevated away from the ground to allow airflow under the deck

4. Use the appropriate fasteners and ensure the joists are level and securely fixed in place

5. Regularly inspect and maintain the decking to prolong the lifespan, checking for signs of wear and damage.
