Concrete gravelboards, or kicker boards, can be used as retainers or to keep your timber panel off the floor and away from moisture. The gravelboards can also be stacked to create a solid concrete panel.
Available in 12″ high boards ( 6″ only in plain finish ). All gravel boards are 6′ wide
Note – any hairline cracks will not affect the strength of the gravel boards. These cracks may appear due to the curing process and are not a defect.
Concrete Gravel Boards are used in fencing setups to:
Raise the bottom of a fence panel off the ground so the timber (or other material) does not sit directly on soil/ground moisture, which greatly reduces the risk of rot and decay.
Provide a stable, durable “kick board” or base for fence bays, especially when using concrete posts (eg slotted posts) or where the ground is uneven.
Act as a protective barrier for the bottom of the fence and help prevent soil or gravel from creeping under the panel.
In short, they are a sound investment in the longevity of a fence assembly.
